Bad Egg
A person who is dishonest or not trustworthy.
خَدَّاعٌ؛ خَسِيسٌ.
He turned out to be a bad egg after stealing from his colleagues.
Basket Case
Someone or something that is in a completely hopeless or useless condition.
في حَالَةٍ يُرْثَى لَهَا.
After the accident, the car was a basket case and beyond repair.
Beat a Dead Horse
To waste time and effort on something that has already been dealt with or resolved.
تُهدِر وقتَكَ وجُهدَكَ بلاَ طَائِل: كَمَن يصُبُّ المَاءَ فِي الرَّملِ؛ يضرِب فِي حَدِيدٍ بَارِدٍ؛ ينفُخ فِي قِرْبَةٍ مقطُوعَة؛ يحرُثُ البَحر؛ يَنْفُخُ فِي الرَّماد.
Continuing to argue about the issue is like trying to beat a dead horse.
Beat Around the Bush
Avoiding the main topic; not getting to the point.

Bitter Pill
A difficult or unpleasant situation or truth that is hard to accept.
أشَدُّ مَضاضَةً.. يُقبَل على مَضَضٍ/ يصعُب قبولُه.
Losing the championship was a bitter pill for the team to swallow.
Black and Blue
Bruised and discolored, typically from physical injury.
مُزْرَقٌ (بسبب رَضَّةٍ أو كَدْمة).
After the fall, his knee was black and blue and swollen.
Break the Ice
To initiate a conversation in a social setting; to relieve tension.
أزالَ حاجِز الكُلْفَة: خلقَ جوًّا منَ الألفَة والصَّداقَة. كسَرَ حَالَة الجُمُود والتَوتُّر: لطَّف الأجوَاء.

Credit or praise for doing good deeds or favors.
