تستعمل هذا التعبير لتقول أو تقول لشخص بأن - يستيقظ من غفلته و أن يدرك ما يجري حوله، تجعله يدرك حقيقة شيئ ما.

"cut the crap" means for someone to stop saying things that aren't relevant to a situation

"add insult to injury" means to make an already bad situation worse
تستعمل هذا التعبير عندما وضع ما سيئ، يزداد سوءا كأن تقول - و لأزيد الأمر سوءا - و لأزيد الطين بلة - يزيد الأمر سوءا - و ليزداد الأمر سوءا
