 يختلف مع شخص في وجهة النظر، لا يتفق معه

"on its last legs" means for something to soon stop being useful due to being in bad condition
 نستعمل هذا التعبير لنقول إن شيئ ما أصبح متهالك و في حالة يرثى لها و سيتحطم أو يتوقف عن العمل قريبا نظرا لحالتة السيئة.  كالتلفاز،سرير،غسالة... لخ
  • We need a new bed because this one is on its last legs from the kids using it like a trampoline.

"get the hang of it" means to learn how to do something
يستعمل هذا التعبير عندما شخص ما يبدأ تعلم شيئ ما ؛ و مع الممارسة و التجربة يتحسن. أو يتعلم القيام به
  • My friend tried to show me how to juggle 3 oranges but I could never get the hang of it.

"I'm all ears" means to listen intently
أنا مصغ تماما؛ كلي آذان صاغية
  • My friend said he had something important to tell me and I told him, I'm all ears.

"push comes to shove" means when a situation gets serious someone takes action

  • My brother doesn't visit my Mom that much but when push come to shove, he helps her with many things such as remodeling her kitchen when it really needed it.
