Cry me a river
تَأَوَّهَ/ تَشَكَّى/ تَذَمَّر/ انْتَحِب قدر ما تشاء.. لا أهتمّ/ لا أُبالي/ لا تُثير شفَقتي.
Used in a dismissive or sarcastic manner to imply that the speaker is unsympathetic to someone else's complaints, grievances, or emotional outbursts.
Cry me a river, but I'm still not giving in to your demands for a new phone.
Go ahead and cry me a river, but I'm not going to lend you money again.
Person A: "I can't believe I have to wait in line for the new iPhone. It's so unfair!"
Person B: "You're upset about waiting in line? Cry me a river. Some people can't even afford a phone."
