  • "generous with" جَوّاد؛ سخيّ Willing to give or share freely with others. She is very generous with her time, helping her friend with his school assignments.
  • "guilty of" مَلُوْم؛ مُخطِئٌ، مُذنِبٌ Responsible for committing a wrongdoing or crime. He's guilty of not telling her the truth.
  • "gentle with" لطيف مع Being kind, soft, or careful in one's actions or behavior. The girl was gentle with the butterfly she found on the flower.
  • "good at" ماهر ب Skilled or proficient in a particular activity or skill. Growing up in the mountains, it's understandable the family is good at skiing.
  • "grateful to" ممتن ل، شاكر ل Feeling thankful and appreciative toward someone or something. We are very grateful to you for all the help you have given us.
  • "happy about" سعيد بشأن Feeling joy or contentment regarding a specific situation. We are happy about finishing the project ahead of schedule.
  • "hopeful about" متفائل بشأن Having optimism or confidence about a future outcome. He was hopeful about getting the promotion.
  • "identical to" مطابق ل Exactly the same as something else in every aspect. I bought this jacket because it is identical to the one I lost years ago.
  • "immune to" لديه مناعة، لا يتأثر ب Having resistance or protection against a particular influence or condition. If you live in New York City long enough, eventually you become immune to the chaos.

    He seems to be immune to colds; he just never gets them.
  • "impressed with" مبهور ب، معجب ب Feeling admiration or respect for someone or something. I was really impressed with the dancer's talent.
  • "inferior to" أقل جودة من Of lower quality or rank compared to something else. I believe Chinese-made shoes are inferior to Italian-made shoes.
  • "indifferent to" غير مكترث؛ لا مبال Having no interest or concern for a particular matter. The teacher seemed indifferent to the students' struggles, and they felt like they were on their own.
  • "innocent of" بَريءٌ من Not guilty or responsible for a wrongdoing or crime. He is innocent of the crime he's being accused of.
  • "interested in" مهتم ب Having curiosity or desire to learn more about something. I am interested in learning more about photography.
  • "involved with" مرتبط ب، على علاقة مع Having a connection or association with someone or something. She just got divorced and doesn't want to get involved with anyone right now.
  • "jealous of" غيور من Feeling envy or resentment toward someone's advantages or possessions. He is jealous of his coworker who always seems to get promoted first.
