• "punished for" عوقب بسبب Being penalized or disciplined as a consequence of an action. My little brother got punished for eating the whole cake.
• "puzzled by" حائر Confused or perplexed by something that is difficult to understand. Scientists are puzzled by the recent discovery of a species of mammal long thought to be extinct.
• "qualified for" مؤهل ل Meeting the necessary requirements or having the skills for a specific job or role. He is clearly qualified for the job, having 10 years of experience in the same industry.
• "ready for" مستعد ل Prepared or fully equipped for a particular task or event. The team is ready for the championship match on Saturday.
• "relevant to" متعلق ب؛ مرتبط ب Closely connected or related to a specific topic or subject. He started talking about something that wasn't relevant to the topic at hand.
• "respectful for" متسم بالاحترام؛ من الإحترام Showing or demonstrating respect or polite behavior towards someone or something. It's not respectful for children to interrupt adults when they are talking.
• "responsible for" مسؤول عن Accountable or liable for a particular task, duty, or action. We are all responsible for our own actions.
• "punished with" يعاقب ب(أداة أو مهمة) Receiving a penalty or disciplinary action involving a specific task or consequence. For not cleaning his bedroom, he got punished with having to clean the entire house.
• "sad about" حزين حول Experiencing sorrow or unhappiness regarding a specific situation or event. I feel sad about the misunderstanding I had with my friend.
• "safe from" في مأمن من Protected or out of harm's way from a potential threat or danger. Put your keys where they will be safe from getting lost.
• "satisfied with" راض عن؛ مقتنع ب Content or pleased with a particular outcome, situation, or decision. So far, I'm satisfied with the performance of my assistant.
• "scared of" فزع من؛ خائف من Experiencing fear or anxiety in response to a particular thing or situation. She is really scared of bugs.
• "sensitive to" سريع التأثر ب Reacting quickly or strongly to a particular stimulus or condition. My skin is sensitive to scratchy sweaters.
• "serious about" جدي حول Having a sincere and committed attitude toward a goal or objective. Don't say you will be there, if you're not serious about showing up.
• "sick of" يضيق ذرعا من Becoming fed up or tired of something or someone. I'm sick of her complaining about her life when I know she has a great family.
