- "kind to" لطيف مع Being nice or compassionate towards someone. He was kind to the old lady, helping her cross the busy street.
- "keen on" متلهف ل Very interested or enthusiastic about something. I'm very keen on meeting my friend in person after talking with her online for 1 year.
- "late for" متأخر عن Not on time for a scheduled event or appointment. I didn't hear my phone alarm, and now I will be late for my dental appointment.
- "limited to" محدود (الكمية أو العدد) Restricted or confined to a specific quantity or number. The stock in my uncle's store is limited to what you see on the shelf.
- "lucky at" محظوظ Having good fortune or success in something. I don't feel lucky at anything.
- "nervous about" قلق حول؛خائف Anxious or fearful regarding a particular situation. I was very nervous about driving again after the accident.
- "notorious for" سيء السمعة بسبب Known for a negative reputation or bad behavior. The new restaurant is so popular; it's notorious for having a long wait to be seated.
- "opposed to" معارض ل In disagreement or resistance to something. I'm opposed to the President's policy on immigration.
- "patient with" صبور مع Tolerant and understanding in dealing with someone. Be patient with him because it is his first day on the job.
- "pessimistic about" متشائم حول Expecting the worst or having a negative outlook on something. Many people feel pessimistic about the economy with unemployment being so high.
- "pleased with" راض عن Satisfied or content with something. I hope the administrator is pleased with my contributions.
- "polite to" مهذب مع Showing good manners or courtesy towards someone. As a child, I was taught to be polite to adults.
- "popular with" محبوب من قبل Liked or well-received by a particular group or audience. Funny kids are popular with their classmates.
- "presented with" وشح ب ؛ قدمت له Given or awarded something as a gesture of recognition or honor. After I won the 5-kilometer race, I was presented with a medal.
- "proud of" فخور ب Feeling a sense of pride or satisfaction about something. My parents don't often say it, but I know they are proud of my achievements.
