To read a text message from someone and intentionally choose not to respond to it.

I can’t believe I was left on read. I sent him a message and I can see he’s looked at the message, but he hasn’t replied!

I can't stand it when my friends leave me on read. It makes me feel like they don't care about what I have to say.
