تكبح أو تمنع نفسك من إعطاء رأيك أو قول شيء ما قد يكون جارح أو مُؤْذٍ.. بمعنى تعْرِضْ عن قول ما تود قوله صراحةً.

To prevent yourself from expressing emotion.

تكبح مشاعرك أو ردة فعلك اتجاه شيء ما. هذا التعبير شبيه للأول لكن هنا نمنع أنفسنا من إظهار ردة فعلنا لشيء ما كأن لا نضحك على شيء ما رغم أننا نريد الضحك بشدة.
